| Money’s history starts with barter. It is the exchange of other possessions for other goods that you want like so many chickens for a cow and so many cow for a piece of land. People then needed to invent a medium of exchange because barter is inaccurate and at times may bulky and inconvenient. In China, they used cowry shells and at the end of Stone Age, they already came up with metal currencies that were made up of base metals. On the other side of the world, the Greek, Persian, Macedonian and Roman empires made use of precious metals like gold and silver which had a lot of intrinsic value. When the government entered the picture, coins were minted in standard weights that guaranteed a certain value. One of the breakthroughs in the evolution of money is the invention of the bank. Travelling merchants were issued letter of credit that may be redeemed upon their destination to avoid the danger of being caught by bandits with loads of gold with them. Paper currency was born but the amount of currency skyrocketed and caused severe inflation. In 1816, England made gold a benchmark of value. This meant that the value of currency was pegged to a certain number of ounces of gold that would help prevent the inflation of currency. The U.S. went on the gold standard in 1900.
Through the years, paper currency dominated the worldwide market but the evolution of money doesn’t stop there. People have thought of more convenient, reliable and secure way to handle money and speed up transactions. Since money is just a representation of value,it has become more abstract through checks, credit card, ATM, gift checks and e-wallet but like every mode of payment, each of these has its own drawback. In checking account, transactions are made convenient without you having to carry a big amount of cash with you when buying something, but it is not advisable in buying an item with small amount. On the other hand we have credit cards, credit cards may be as convenient as it may seem but it can charge us up to 23 percent more of what we have actually purchased. A debiting account may be a good solution but it is not widely available, we cannot use it inside a school or an office or in our favourite department store and not all banks offer this kind of service. An ATM account may come handy but ATMs are not online 24/7. Some business entity offers gift checks which may only be rendered from the business entity itself and only by those who are authorized to have them. They are made reliable because on the side of the business entity, they already take hold of the money even before a customer purchases their product. Then came electronic cash or e-wallet, these are prepaid amount already used in transactions over the internet, mobile network loading systems and train fares.

activities: instructed with the deployment process, transfered the files of one computer through lan. then attended the preliminary presentation of the TIS to the project owner. jot down notes and forward them to the programmer. made suggestions for the system. uninstalled ms office project configured internet explorer to lan settings.
feel: waw life is so ironic.. naka free lunch ako pero parang i lost a hundred peso bill.. olats tae.. tapos had lunch with my boss she was giving insights about how to deal with computer illiterate people and how to handle sticky situations when it comes to making systems. she described the old computers and magnetic tapes she first worked with. ayon.. tas minsan may mga taong hnd enjoy kasama tas xempre masgugustuhin mo sumama dun sa enjoy kasama pero xempre nd naman pwede yon.. deal with people of all sorts kahit pinapagawa ka ng bagay na hnd mo naman na trabaho like encoding.. aba diskartehan mo pano mo lulusutan ung ganun without making him feel bad.

activities: entered data into the service cards of the laptops for the month of feb to march and double checked january, rechecked the inventory, troubleshoot 2 computers with virus and the other one has its system files affected. installed ms office word, excel and powerpoint viewer 2003. started the presentation for the computer basics seminar, review of preliminary presentation of the Training Information System done using PHP and mysql.
feel: waaah real life defense.. real life pang gigisa sa mga mali at mga hindi mo naisip na mali pala.. wah ansarap mag critic pero mahirap mag program! at ang iintindihin mo lang talaga ay yung user interface.. kahit gano mo pa kahirap pinrogram yan wla silang pakialam dun! hai buhay.. natuwa ako this day may sense ung mga ginawa ko.. at nakikita ko ng may sense ung mga gagawin ko..

given a new task to conduct a seminar on computer basics for the admin staff which includes the outline, presentation and activities that will be held in a half day. the training will be on the 24th and 25th of april. and the presentation proposal will be submitted on the 21st. Made the outline for the module.
feel: ang ginaw!!! wrong move hnd ko dinala ung jacket/blazer ko.. grrr tinamad lng kase akong kunin whole day naman akong nag suffer.. ansakit tuloy ng likod ko ngaun andaming lamig.. feel at home na sa ofis. may dalawa pang kasamang ojt na kamuka nila typecast.. sama ko.. owel..
